In many rural areas of Northern Thailand, opportunities are limited. By hiring local staff—drivers, cooks, guides, and elephant caretakers—we provide stable income and career training. Most of our team are from the Karen hill tribes who have lived alongside elephants for generations.
Instead of logging or entertainment work, they now earn income by protecting elephants and educating visitors. It’s a shift from survival to pride.
Supporting Local Farmers
Elephants eat a lot—over 150 kilograms of food a day! We source fruits, leaves, and sugarcane from nearby farmers, putting money back into local agriculture. Every banana you see an elephant eat is helping a village thrive.
